BEFA is a sponsored community academy from the team behind EPA Football Academy Bangkok. Up to 24 fully funded squad places give local players full access to the same coaches and the same facilities, at no cost to their families.

Since 2017, EPA has coached the children of Bangkok's international school community on professional, structured development programmes. Local Thai school students rarely get access to that environment: the coaching, the facilities, the long-term curriculum.
BEFA exists to close that gap. It is not a diluted version of the academy next door. It is the same coaching standard, the same curriculum thinking and the same facilities, delivered entirely in Thai by coaches who know the players and their world.
BEFA runs as a sponsored programme. Squad places are fully funded, so a player joins on ability and commitment, never on what their family can pay.

Every funded player trains on the same fully covered, FIFA-grade pitches as EPA's international programmes, with the same coaches, the same session structure and the same standards. The programme is backed by sponsors and year-round fundraising, including our annual golf day, which raised ฿265,000 in its first year.
Next for BEFA: an English language programme delivered through the game itself. Players will build English confidence on the pitch, inside their training, rather than at a classroom desk.
It is the same idea that runs through everything BEFA does: give local Thai students the tools that open doors, through the sport they love.
BEFA is part of the EPA Academy Group. EPA Football Academy has developed young players in Bangkok since 2017 and has worked in partnership with West Ham United Foundation since 2018.
BEFA players train at the EPA Football Development Centre on the same fully covered pitches, follow the same curriculum framework, and standout BEFA players have a clear pathway into EPA's international programmes. One group, one standard, two academies.

One Saturday of golf funded a season of football. Thanks to our generous sponsors and everyone who played, the first EPA Golf Charity Day raised ฿265,000 for the BEFA squad. Every baht goes to funding places for the players: coaching, kit, pitch time and training equipment, food and drink on match days, and West Ham United Foundation coach visits from the UK for camps and training days.
