The West Ham United Foundation will develop tailored football-based initiatives for EPA, focusing on promoting Coach Education and further expanding our pathways to both higher education and professional sport through the delivery of innovative and progressive football programmes.

With over 30 community projects running across East London and Essex, the West Ham United Foundation leverages the power of the West Ham United brand to connect with nearly 50,000 people annually, fostering unity within the community, addressing local needs, and creating an environment where everyone can flourish. The programmes in Asia aim to offer regular opportunities for participants to train with West Ham United Foundation coaches. Additionally, the partnership allows players based in Southeast Asia to visit London, engage in the Foundation's projects, and participate in regular matches against West Ham United Foundation's teams.

The Ultimate Objective

The ultimate objective of these Asian programmes is to foster student development both on and off the field, utilising the 'West Ham Way' philosophy and promoting the rich history and traditions of West Ham United in Southeast Asia. One of the most exciting aspects of the partnership is the potential for players to be monitored by Foundation coaches, thereby increasing the likelihood of an EPA/West Ham United Foundation participant advancing into professional football.
