MORE THAN A FOOTBALL ACADEMY

We do not just coach football. We develop young people.

EPA Football Academy is a professional development programme built on a simple belief: every young player deserves a proper pathway — not just a kickabout.

Since 2018, we have partnered with the West Ham United Foundation to deliver world-class coaching methodology right here in Bangkok. Our coaches are UEFA-qualified. Our curriculum is developed in collaboration with WHUF in London. And our results speak for themselves — 3 players signed to WHUF Academy teams.

We believe in development over matches and tournaments. Small-sided games. Individual Development Plans. Long-term commitment, not quick fixes. Every player — from a 4-year-old in Mini-Hammers to a 17-year-old on the Pro-Academy Pathway — is seen, challenged, and supported.

And we do not stop for school holidays. Training runs every week — through camps, Songkran and every Thai public holiday. Most academies in Bangkok pause for the summer; we believe development shouldn’t.

WEST HAM UNITED FOUNDATION PARTNERSHIP

Since 2018, EPA has been an official partner of the West Ham United Foundation — one of the most respected community and development programmes in English football.

This is not a badge on a website. It is a working partnership. WHUF coaches visit Bangkok three times per year. Our best players travel to London on biannual training trips to train at WHUF facilities. Our coaching curriculum, methodology, and player pathway are developed in direct collaboration.

The partnership runs until 2031, with 3 EPA players already signed to WHUF Academy teams.

REAL PATHWAYS. REAL RESULTS.

These are not just stories. They are proof that the EPA pathway works.

Unna — first Thai female signed to West Ham United Foundation Women's U18
Girls Academy

Unna

6 Years with EPA → WHUF U18 Women's

Unna joined EPA aged 11 and became the first Thai female to sign a contract with an English top-tier club. She joined the WHUF Women's U18 team and won the Junior Premier League and Cup double in her first season.

Aya — signed to West Ham United Foundation Women's U18
Girls Academy

Aya

2 Years with EPA → WHUF U18 Women's

In just two years, Aya developed through the Girls Academy and earned her place with the WHUF Women's U18 squad. She made her debut in the Junior Premier League against Watford U18s.

Sebastien — first male player signed to West Ham United Foundation U15
Boys Academy

Sebastien

EPA Boys Academy → WHUF U15

Sebastien became EPA's first male signing at WHUF level, joining the U15 squad. His journey is proof that the boys' pathway is just as real as the girls'.

2 more EPA players heading to London for extended trials — October 2026.

Beyond the pitch, EPA alumni are gaining entry to top universities and colleges around the world — and building coaching careers within the WHUF network.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Start with a free trial session. If you and your child enjoy it, we will help you find the right programme and complete registration. You can book your free trial through our website or by contacting us directly on LINE.

Free trial sessions are available for families living in Bangkok. If you are visiting Bangkok on holiday, we would love to welcome your child to train with us — we offer drop-in sessions (1,500 THB), 5-session passes (5,000 THB), and 10-session passes (8,560 THB). Message us on LINE to arrange.

We welcome boys and girls aged 4 to 18. Our programmes are split into age-appropriate groups: Mini-Hammers (4–6), Kids (7–10), Youth Academy (11–13), and Academy (14+) for both boys and girls.

Sessions run on weekday evenings and weekends. Visit the page for your child’s age group — Mini-Hammers (4–6), Kids (7–10), Youth Academy (11–13), or Academy (14+) — for the full schedule.

Not at all. We welcome players of all ability levels. Beginners are placed in appropriate groups and our coaches ensure every player feels comfortable, supported, and challenged from day one.

For the trial session, comfortable sportswear, trainers or boots, shin guards, and a water bottle. Once registered, players receive EPA training kit as part of their programme.

Players who show commitment, development, and potential are identified for the Pro-Academy Pathway. This includes opportunities to train with WHUF coaches during their Bangkok visits, join biannual London training trips, and ultimately trial for WHUF Academy teams. Three EPA players have already been signed through this route.

Our sessions are mixed — boys and girls train together, and that is by design. We have as many girls as boys in the Academy, and our female players consistently tell us they prefer the competitive environment of mixed training. It was through this environment that Unna became the first Thai female to sign a contract with an English top-tier club.

No — we don’t stop. Sessions run through every school break, on every Thai public holiday (yes, including Songkran), and right through the summer — camps run alongside sessions, never instead of them. The only planned break is a single week at Christmas so our staff can rest, and very occasionally a week when our coaches travel to London for West Ham United Foundation coach education — always announced well in advance. Most academies in Bangkok stop for the summer; we believe development shouldn’t.
